Check the preparation, power-supply, backup and recovery requirements specified for your unit. Do not use a firmware file or procedure intended for a different system.

Follow the supplied sequence.
Use the prepared card only in the slot and order described in your instructions. Do not interrupt an update or remove the card before the procedure tells you to.

Arrange the final step, if included.
Any required remote session is arranged by email after the setup has been confirmed. Do not share remote-access details publicly.
Unsure about a version or message?
Pause before starting and email your order number with a clear photo of the version screen or message. A software update alone does not activate CarPlay; Android Auto eligibility is checked separately.
