First connection
- Use the phone and connection method supported by your selected kit. Keep the phone unlocked during the first setup.
- For a wired connection, use a data-capable cable and the kit’s specified data USB port.
- For wireless pairing, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and follow the kit’s pairing instructions. Accept the connection prompts on the phone.
- Select the audio input required by your kit and test music, navigation directions and a parked call.
If something isn’t working
- No connection: check the cable, data port and selected pairing device. Re-pair using the instructions for your kit.
- No sound: check the source/input and volume settings required by the kit.
- Calls or microphone: check phone permissions and the microphone arrangement specified for the installed version.
- Camera or original controls: stop and check the exact wiring/settings with support. Do not change switches at random.
